About ETERNO
ETERNO was founded out of a desire to fundamentally rethink healthcare.
What began as a vision is now gradually becoming a reality.
ETERNO was founded in 2019 by Maximilian Waldmann and Frederic Haitz.
Max grew up in a family of doctors and saw early on how much time is wasted in the day-to-day running of a practice not on patients, but on bureaucracy, documentation, and inefficient systems.
Together, Max and Fredo have been building software companies for over 15 years—with a mission to radically simplify complex systems.
At the heart of it all is our ETERNO Cloud: an AI-powered operating system for medical practices that unifies all core processes into a single system.
From appointment scheduling and digital medical history to documentation and billing, all the way through to reporting, patient communication, and intelligent decision support.
Our goal: to reduce the operational burden of daily practice and deliver noticeably better care.
A key difference: We don’t develop our product in isolation.
Through our ETERNO Spaces, we operate our own fully equipped medical practice locations and work closely with doctors and their teams.
These locations cover a broad range of specialties—from preventive care to acute and elective medicine, outpatient procedures, and state-of-the-art diagnostics.
These locations are our real-world environment for understanding workflows, testing solutions, and continuously improving them.
This results in software that isn’t just theoretically sound, but actually works in everyday practice and has already been experienced by millions of patients.
Today, over 150 employees are working on this mission.
And more than 1,000 practices and locations already rely on our solutions.
Our goal is clear:
We are building the leading operating system for medical practices and are actively shaping the future of outpatient care.
